Wife and I split the crab cakes and the lobster roll. Both were very tasty! The service was on point. Almost docked a star because the food portions didn't seem to match the price, but at least we had room for the chocolate mousse... or two because the first was that good! GooglePlace - May 2017

The place was really nice, loved all the decorations. It's in a really nice neighborhood with a lot of other restaurants and shops. I got the lobster roll and it was better than most. Really expensive, but I guess what do you expect in San Fran GooglePlace - April 2017

My friend found this place on Yelp after we were craving some oysters and had trekked all the way to Swan Oyster Depot, only to find out it was closed on Sundays. So we came in at around 4 pm and the place wasn't too filled up (probably because it was a weird time to eat). We were seated immediately and ordered some oysters, clam chowder, and a lobster roll - all to share. Again, since it was a weird time to be eating and we hadn't had lunch yet, we also didn't want to be too full since we were still planning to have dinner later. The oysters were okay - nothing to write home about. Nothing you can't get for a dollar in NYC. But then again, I can't really tell the difference between most oysters; just that it's saltier and/or plumper. The clam chowder was pretty good. As for the lobster roll, this was again just okay. The cole slaw that it came with had way too much mayo. Overall, I would say that Woodhouse is an okay choice if you're in the area. But if you're willing to travel, I'm sure there are better places in SF. GooglePlace - March 2017

Loved the lobster roll and my mom loved the crab and shrimp stuffed artichokes! The concept of building your own Arnold Palmer was new to me but genius! Didn't have to worry about a too tart or too sweet AP. I made it just the way I liked it. Will definitely visit again when I get the chance GooglePlace - March 2017

I love this Fillmore District location of this San Francisco seafood chain. The layout is much more pleasant than the Castro location. Noise level is much better too. Staff was great. Decent and reasonable house Chardonnay too. Blue Point Oysters were amazing. Calamari was wonderful. GooglePlace - February 2017
