Good dim sum. Could use a little more variety. Staff friendly. Recommend. GooglePlace - July 2017

One of our go to dim sum places. I slightly prefer the Ricon Center location more (probably because it is larger and has more nostalgic memories for me.). We love the dim sum here, the carts. My husband always gets the honey sea bass that he swears by and has introduced many coworkers to. GooglePlace - June 2017

Definitely make reservations ahead of time. Also be aware that there are 2 of these in San Francisco so make reservations at the correct location you want to dine at. They walk around with carts and you all for what you want. They do have vegetarian options, but they were all on the same cart, so we had to wait about ten minutes before they came around with it. Ambient was nice and service was good. Egg custard was fresh and homemade. It was quite delicious. Unlike some restaurants who choose to buy factory egg custard s and other typical dim sum items that consume preparation time better reserved for bigger dishes like Singapore style curry noodles. Sesame ball was alright, crunchy but too thick inside which indicates the oil was not hot enough to fry the dough properly to create the air ideally needed to separate the outer dough from the filling. Prices were on the high side. Bathroom was a single stall at the end of a Hallway downstairs that look like backstage at some old theater company. Found myself a better dim sum place called city view which I actually want to check out again since I was so impressed with the flavor profile and cooking techniques. I did not get to see many carts on my visit to yank sing so I couldn't try the rest of its dishes but the ones I ate didn't inspire me to come back again, especially at those prices. To go counter review: Pretty good value for what you get. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could...and I still go once a week. I generally get the Yank-Sing Mini (Chicken Salad, two pot stickers, spring roll). I wouldn't really recommend the non-dim sum dishes. T But they are quick and the pork buns are really good.
