Altura is a place like no other. While it is indeed pricey, the variety and quality of the food is hard to come by anywhere. If you want to see the artists at work, please do try to get a chair at the bar, directly viewing the talented chefs who put the utmost care to a single dish at a time. GooglePlace - February 2018
Highly recommend this place! Food is delicious. It is modernized Italian food with a twist. What I love about the food is that the flavors are all very subtle yet they have a small kick of a unique ingredient. So if your not a fan of food with very strong flavors, or a not yet used to having powerful ingredients, this is a great place to start introducing your pallette to new and unique flavors(high end cuisine). Best part about the restaurant in my opinion is the open concept and how you can see how the chefs are preparing your food. It is very interesting and amusing to see how these types of meals are being prepared from start to finish. And how everyone in the kitchen seems to be creative with what they prepare. Overall had a great experience! GooglePlace - January 2018

Amazing. If you're looking for a culinary experience and you have some money and time on your hands, this is definitely the restaurant to go to. Incredibly friendly and helpful service and every single dish was phenomenal. Looking forward to my next visit! GooglePlace - December 2017

Wow. Absolutely amazing. Chef Nathan and his team have exceeded expectations with their attention to detail and expertly prepared dishes. I've been to many restaurants, but Altura goes above and beyond by combining flavors that you wouldn't expect. The sommelier excelled in his wine pairings. The experience was well worth the price, and I will definitely be coming back to Seattle just for this restaurant. If Michelin was in the Pacific Northwest, this would definitely be a contender. My only wish was that I had a bigger stomach! GooglePlace - December 2017

This meal couples complex flavors with very simple, ritualized courses. The bites to start each have a unique taste that almost trains the palette for the rest of the meal. Then you start getting into the nine courses - each one with its own amazing technique and style. We loved the pasta. GooglePlace - October 2017
