Ambiance here is nice -- you can be dressy or casual without feeling out of place. We got the ultimate tower to celebrate a birthday.. and man was it massive!! The seafood was great -- oysters especially! I also really liked the dungeoness crab. GooglePlace - March 2017

Not a tourist trap! Actually serves great food and drinks. The Salmon Reuben is absolutely amazing and worth trying. I'll def return for another Reuben. Tried several of their specialty cocktails and they were all very good and had decent alcohol content. GooglePlace - February 2017

This is a great place in a touristy area on the water. AMAZING oyster selection. Can't beat it. We loved the crab cakes too. Cioppino and tacos were great too. We were there for lunch, so can't comment on the dinner food or crowd. Drink options were yummy. We tried the Bloody Mary, margarita, and dark and stormy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ GooglePlace - February 2017

We had a delicious lunch here. I loved my Oysters and Cajun-coated salmon. The waiter gave great advice, and significantly, even the toddler at the table had a good time during our two-hour lunch. The food could have come a little fast (though we didn't mind), but we went on an especially busy holiday. GooglePlace - February 2017

Cafe 56 attached to the Oyster house is where we went, same food and a great place to wait for the Argosy Cruise. Clam Chowder and the Rockfish Tacos were amazing. The cocktails were quite nice as well. My son got the Kobe burger and said it was great and he is a pretty picky eater. Staff is super cool and helpful I will definitely be back when we visit again.
