Eltana was created by Stephen Brown and Daniel Levin, to make a deliciously different, hand-rolled bagel — and to bring it directly to you with flair, warmth and soul. We love the food we make. Not just the bagels and flatbreads hot out of the wood-fired hearth, but the simple and memorable street food from the Eastern Mediterranean that we serve to accompany our breads. We get joy out of hosting people — friends, family and those we don’t yet know. So, come December, please stop in, introduce yourself and give Eltana a try.

I usually only write good reviews, but after a seriously disappointing and overpriced bagel sandwich from Eltana, I decided to protect others from the same fate if I can. The bagel itself was tiny! smallest bagel I've ever seen short of a frozen bagel bite. It was dry and flavorless and the hole in the middle was about half the size of the entire bagel. I got the breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage, egg and cheese. The sausage was also completely flavorless, dry, thin and looked way over-processed. The egg was in a perfect rectangle which kind of weirded me out, clearly it was an egg mixture and not an actual egg. The only flavor whatsoever came from the cheese, and that was mostly in the form of a large blob in the hole of the bagel. Worst of all it was $9 for this tiny flavorless sandwich! Even if it was $5 it would have been bad. Definitely never going back here, you shouldn't either GooglePlace - October 2017

The best bagels. My favorite is the everything bagel - on it's own or with any of their spreads (I've even tried it with peanut butter at home!). All of the bagels are amazing, as are the spreads. My favorite sweet spread is walnut date, but again, they are all amazing. Lately I've been trying different items for lunch. The lox plate, the smoked trout, the breakfast sandwich, the chicken schwarma, and today - the shakshuka... the eggs were perfectly poached, the tomatoes and vegetables cooked to perfection and so, so flavorful. Nice to have healthy, but filling lunch options. Excited to try out more of the menu! I love coming here for lunch because while everything is made fresh-to-order, they bring it out quick. So it's a great spot for a quick lunch, but also the space is gorgeous and a great place to enjoy a slow lunch when time allows. GooglePlace - August 2017

Really tiny, misshapen, flat-ish bagels with poor consistency. Maybe it's because I'm used to New York bagels, but I can't even consider these abominations as bagels. Nice try, but no. GooglePlace - August 2017

I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on Eltana at their various locations - I have to say that the bagels are good, but they are small - and don't really taste like anything other than just normal fresh bagels. The spreads are what really sweeten the deal, as they are both generous with the amount you get and the flavors are amazing. I know people that go there just to buy the spread (which you can do, to bring home!). Top tip - go here on a Saturday and grab a bagel and a latte, and do their crossword puzzle while you hang out. Also; if you know someone who works there, take advantage of their Feed A Friend deal - you can get up to 15 bucks of free food daily! GooglePlace - June 2017
