The best clam chowder. Hands. Down. The only downfall is having too many people in the market area and fighting the crowd, but that's to expect. Best time to go is during the non-touristy season when it's cold, rainy, and very little foot traffic! GooglePlace - January 2017

This place offers a wide variety of seafood to go, but I will only be reviewing cod n chips and the halibut n chips. The actual cuts of fish are good and fresh, which is expected, and the fries are just fine; however, this place uses a panko breading instead of a beer batter, which decreases the overall quality of the food. Everything else is fine, reasonable price, decent portion, fast service, friendly people. It's worth returning to in my opinion, but the breading on the fish is disappointing. Fave fish and chips spot ever! Definitely upgrade to the garlic fries--they're as garlicky as they come. Fish and chips are not a health food, so expect some greasiness. The Cioppinno is definitely worth a try if that's a concern for you. Seating is very limited, but you can always walk down to Victor Steinbrueck Park and watch the cruise ships go by (if it's not raining). Super casual and affordable. GooglePlace - November 2016

Jacks fish spot is top notch. Fish n chips were great, the fries were a little salty but nbd. Oysters on the half - money. Chowder was solid and I have a high bar for chowder! Two thumbs up! GooglePlace - October 2016

Atmospheric place with fresh seafood, Spartan seating, and friendly staff. The steamed mussels and clams were delicious, just as the raw oysters. Garlic fries were okay. Five stars for great seafood and reasonable prices. GooglePlace - October 2016
