Best sushi my friend and I have ever had. Neither of us are huge sushi people, but both of us were amazed at the flavors of the street fighter 2 and Spanish lover. The Spanish lover was both our favorites and, if we happen to come back, it would be tough not to get that every time alongside another one of their rolls - all of which sounded fantastic. Priced at ~$20/roll, I would consider it more than worth it, despite the fact that it isn't exactly cheap. Would I go back? In a heartbeat. GooglePlace - February 2017

The restaurant itself is shotgun-style, with a traditional Japanese atmosphere. The menu has a wide variety of options. I was disappointed by the Yakitori (not enough meat), but the taste was fine. The sushi is decent (I'd give it a 3.5) but the shrimp Tempura is the real winner. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Adding in the sauce, and it was the best tempura I have had in a long time. Overall, a good (if nothing special) Japanese restaurant. GooglePlace - February 2017

Good, but not amazing. However, I've been only once and had only two dishes, so it may not be a fair chance. The roll was in no way bad - but not the kind of good you think about coming back to. You will need a reservation if you don't want to wait forever. Had the California rolls, which are warm and fried on the outside - amazing. The miso off the appetizers is an excellent appetizer size, about 8 oz. Server was friendly. GooglePlace - January 2017

I found this place on Google maps and went there for the first time after work with a friend. It was a Friday so I used the online reservation service offered on their website. It was easy to use and even gave me the option to add my friend's email so they got the confirmation too. *Note, if you want to sit at the sushi bar you have to call ahead and request that specifically.* The waiter was very nice and never left us alone too long. He offered good suggestions when asked and was knowledgeable about the gluten free items. The Japanese-Latin fusion rolls were amazing and the sake selection was extensive! Overall a wonderful dinner and experience! I only gave it 4 stars for some minor issues. The acoustics were not good, it's noisy even when it's not packed. There were enough gluten free options I couldn't remember them all, but there were no notations on the menu to help identify the choices, or a separate gluten free menu for me to look at. After being asked what kind of drink I wanted, I answered that a waters were good, they were already on our table, and the waiter left and did not come back for thirty minutes. I was waiting patiently for them to show up to order, but as we saw the food delivered for the people who were sat before us, I had to demand on passing by waiters, twice, to get our server to the table so that we could order. It was weird service. The sushi compared to other "to-order" sushi I've had in this price range was a little squishy and "flat" or not as fresh as I had expected. This could be an assumption on my part. Other than that it still had a good amount of flavor, so I finished the couple rolls that I ordered. The next two days I suffered from food poisoning. I made sure to avoid the raw sushi, because I don't know this place well.. and sounded like I still hit a sour spot. However this may not be your experience, because my immune system could have been affected by the weather around this time or any other factors. But keep your eyes open. :) Not a great experience for me, hopefully a better one for someone else. GooglePlace - January 2017
