Tips from the Net @ Ozzie's

Server wasn't attentive. Slow to get drinks when the bar wasn't that bust and had plenty of staff. One of my drinks was made incorrectly and the server seemed irritated when I asked for it to be remade. Normally I really like this place for happy hour. GooglePlace - December 2017

Was looking for a dive bar near a show we were going to and found Ozzie's. Glad we came. Place was pretty quiet for a Saturday early evening. Had the garlic waffle fries for an appetizer. They were crispy, garlicky goodness. Decent portion size. Wife got the Lobster Mac and Cheese off the Saturday special. It was huge and amazing. Got better with each bite. Almost half off menu price. I couldn't decide between the French Dip special or the Aloha burger. Friendly waitress recommended the burger. It was a great choice. Burger was juicy with lots of teriyaki sauce. Tots were crispy and seasoned just right. Place has days, pool, pinball, live music, karoke and a DJ on specific nights. Three bars on the weekends. As outsiders, we didn't feel it of place and were treated well. GooglePlace - November 2017

Came into Ozzie's for the first time with some friends to sing Karaoke. We had just eaten else where so I can't comment on the food, but the alcoholic beverages that I ordered were just right. The Bartender himself was pleasant and not only made my drinks quickly, but also through in a few free witty comments. Good chap. Drink prices were fair. It was a busier night and the Karaoke rotation was a bit longer, but the KJ kept it going and didn't stall between singers. The bar atmosphere was cozy. Not super fancy, but also not a dive bar. I do have a few comments. One of the stalls in the women's bathroom does not lock. That was not fun, especially with how many of us were in and out of the bathroom. Also, I found it a little odd that there was a DJ playing music by the bathrooms on top of the KJ and Karaoke on the other side of the bar. The music from the two different speakers were mixing together. I'm not sure if this is a regular thing or not though. . . Overall, my friends and I did enjoy our time there and will be back soon. Cheers! GooglePlace - October 2017
