Description

We’re scientifically minded when it comes to brewing, so here’s a formula for you: take a beer geek, a scientist, and a foodie. Add them to the growing Ballard Brewery District. Watch the mixture grow stronger as each year passes. That’s the formula we’ve been using -- combining our love for craft brewing, food trucks, and Seattle in one exciting location. Stoup is a Scottish word for a tankard, and we chose our name because we want to be that type of vessel for our community: something that’s full of beer and signals good times are ahead.

Tips from the Net @ Stoup Brewing

Beer is pretty good - medium sized selection on tap. Taproom is fairly small so it's usually super crowded. Great beer garden for warmer times. Dog friendly, although dogs aren't allowed in upstairs area. GooglePlace - April 2018

Great atmosphere and brews. Love the huge outdoor seating area and fire pit. And the place is very dog friendly. GooglePlace - March 2018

A great tasting bar, and the visiting food truck adds a lot. The ambiance is light and fun, allowing for good conversation in a great space. Many great beers on tap running the gamut of tastes and styles from a bream aster who appreciates the dinner differences between styles. GooglePlace - March 2018

Stoup makes IPAs to make the northwest proud. You can never go wrong with a stoup IPA. Don't sleep on any of their sour beers either! Vic secret IPA makes me a happy Ballard resident. GooglePlace - February 2018

The folks who work at Stoup that I've interacted with are reason enough to come here. But the brews are pretty dang good as well. I suggest trying a sampler platter, as there is often much to choose from on the menu. In addition, they have had this building re-plumbed so there's no solder in the potable [brewing] system! It's all about the details. 11/10 GooglePlace - January 2018
