This is my favorite low key place to eat in the Market. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. The sandwich below is actually only HALF a meatball sandwich - the full ones are enough for two people. The owner is really nice and chats with customers at the counter. And best of all, there’s not a crazy line to wait in like the chowder place next door. GooglePlace - April 2018

Here is one of the many hidden gems of Pike Place! Behind the clam chowder restaurant in Post Alley . Go see these friendly, amazing chefs and enjoy!! Yum! Stromboli with basil pesto and all the yummiest meats, melted cheese to die for. GooglePlace - February 2018

So, I am reading all the reviews for this place...there are so many wonderful comments. It is like this place was sent down from heaven from God himself. Let me tell you my honest opinion. The place is a hole in the wall, which is perfectly fine. The guys working the joint had their East Coast personality going on, but pleasant. There was a nice variety of food too. I order a whole pizza and it was wasn't that good. My question to the Seattle folks would be: How much should a whole pizza pie cost? They had it posted at $22.50...which is a little high priced for me, but I went with it anyway. I got the Margherita. I was having a good time with family and friends, until I got the bill. I questioned the bill to the owner and he gave me a quick, direct answer and walked away. I was a little shocked. He said there were these extra toppings and that is the reason for the price. There are not any real toppings on a Margherita...just dough, sauce, cheese and a little basil, right? The pizza cost me $33. That's right. Let me spell it out for you: Thirty three dollars. In my whole life, enjoying pizza, I have never had such a bad pizza experience. I felt like I got mugged. What a rip off...very deceiving. It ruined the day. I think these guys owe me another pizza for such a crappy experience. Beware of the sticker shock. Not a very honest bunch, in my opinion. (They can make it up to me with a special coupon for a couple of free slices or something...I will be waiting for that one) GooglePlace - January 2018

Been coming here since high school. It’s the owner. The amazing food. And just the feel of the small diner. Home atmosphere and great pasta. Is there a better duo?? GooglePlace - January 2018
