Tips from the Net @ Yard House

A pretty good yard house. The devilled eggs are amazing. Plenty of drink selection. We ended up going on 2 separate days and the once we had a great waiter, the other time we were less than impressed. Good chain restaurant though! GooglePlace - February 2018

Great food and lots of variety on the menu, but our recent experience has been that it is nearly impossible to book a table on a weekend. If you're willing to walk in and wait, it's a good choice. But if you have symphony or theater tickets, you'd best look somewhere else. GooglePlace - January 2018

Just okay, happy hour food is okay. They have many drinks. Ther's a bar, tables and also booths. Table service along with bar service. There's a wide range of well lit places to darker. GooglePlace - January 2018

We had gone to my husband's work party and missed the dinner portion of it because of work obligations that I had, so here we were on foot wandering all over town around 10:30pm on a week night looking for a restaurant that was still open and served steak (I'm pregnant and had a craving for steak). Yard house was pretty much the only place in the vicinity that met the criteria so that's how we chose it. Let me tell you, when we got there they seated us in a comfy both, the sports channel was on, and every single item on the menu sounded delicious. I initially went in for a steak, but the menu had everything I was in the mood for and more which made it very difficult to choose what to order. I ordered the steak with a reduction sauce as my entree and this steak did not disappoint. It was honestly the best steak I've eaten in the city of Seattle, and I've lived here for four years. It really threw me off how delicious it was. I honestly wasn't expecting it to taste that good cause usually my expectations become lowered when a place has so many different types of food items to choose from. I also ordered the cheese curds and the calamari as an appetizer, and those were great too! I ended up having leftovers, and everything reheated well. It was wonderful. My friends helped me out a bit with the apps, but for the most part they drank their calories in the form of beer samplers. They seemed to have a lot of fun with those. Overall we had a wonderful time, and the food hit the spot. We will definitely be back! GooglePlace - January 2018

The service here was not great. We ordered on the happy hour menu 3 minutes before happy hour and hadn't even gotten our food yet and were told after the order had been put in that they can't give us the happy hour price and it can't be cancelled either. We only went in for the happy hour specials. The food was not that great for the price. There's a lot of space though and the setup feels good. It's in a good location downtown.
