Longing for the re-opening of the original market building (Östermalmshallen). Horrendous pricing which is far more acceptable in the original premises where you sort-of also pay for the experience, history and charisma of the place. Bereaved it's fancy venue - banished to shed-like makeshift premises the pricing seems almost vulgar, like a glum suburban shopping mall far from the main roads selling only Prada, Gucci, Rolex and Ferraris - you rather not shop at all than go there, regardless of economical means... Many seafood and meat shop found and they sell good food. Some are ready to eat while some require cooking. May buy some for cooking dinner next time. I tried the restaurant but I forgot the name (maybe start from T). I ordered the marinated salmon served with mustard sauce and creamed potatoes. The cashier is cheerful and the food was prepared in suitable time. (Yet I think it tastes better when added salt) GooglePlace - October 2017

Can't wait for the original to reopen. Food on display looks perfect. Fish restaraunt was outstanding GooglePlace - August 2017

Very cool food hall with a bunch of vendors selling a wide variety of meats, cheeses, seafood, etc... More suited to if you were going to pick something up and cook it yourself. While there are a couple of places to sit down to eat, it is more a restaurant style, and extremely busy with the work crowds. I would not recommend going here to get something to eat, but worth walking through if in the area. GooglePlace - August 2017

Hall that is practical as well as touristy. A little over polished in the new building and it seems like it is missing the charm and older vendors that the original Saluhall had. Looking forward to its reopening. GooglePlace - June 2017
