Best place in Vancouver for all sorts of comfort food. Great menu selection, staff are fabulous. Never had a bad experience here. Great spot! GooglePlace - November 2017

This place is exactly as advertised - delicious comfort food, and good drinks to go with. I have never had a bad experience with the staff here, very friendly and attentive. It's a smaller place, but never feels crowded. It does get busy - you may have to put your name down and wait awhile. You won't regret it though. The Macaroni and Cheese (both renditions) is a favourite, but the make a great Cuban sandwich and some wonderful soups. Highly recommend. GooglePlace - November 2017

I went to visit with my daughter & her son. We enjoyed our visit, the staff were wonderful. I ordered a salad, which was tasty. My issue is the amount of bacon used. For me, as a very light meat eater, it was far too much. Even after taking much of it off & passing it over to my grandson I ended up with a light headache. Knowing this now, I will still visit & ask for less, or even no, bacon in my salad. GooglePlace - November 2017

This place was outstanding. Got here around 715 on a Sunday - we were told it would be a 30 minute wait but we were seated within 10 minutes. I love the ambience - very rustic, cabin-y vibe with dim lighting and some smooth jazz in the background. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and we had our food within about 10 minutes of ordering. I had the El Cubano & Crab Bisque sandwich and soup combo, my girlfriend had the chicken pot pie. Everything was delicious, and reasonably priced to boot. A must try, such a good spot. This place is great, it's the true definition of comfort food. I haven't been home in a while so to come here and have the chicken pot pie it reminded me of my mom's cooking, but so much more flavorful and exotic! The portion was more then enough and I left with leftovers the side spinach salad was delicious and I just had to try it for the bacon thyme dressing which paired so nicely with the salty feta and sweet crispy apples! I already can't wait to go back. GooglePlace - September 2017
