This was probably the biggest disappointment for a pub that i have ever been to. From the service to the food everything was below one star. Our waiter was new and usually I wouldn't have a problem with that if a waiter comes to the table and explains that he is new but that he will do his best ... BUT of course ... This particular waiter DID NOT so he was just extremely sloppy all night. Answering 97% of our questions with:" I don't know". And yup you guessed it .. " I don't know" was not immediately followed up with " let me go find out". Nope nothing. To top it off, we were a party of 6 and two of us got their food about 15 minutes later into dinner and another one of us didn't even get the other half of her meal and three of us got wings, one plate had 5 wings one had 6 and another had 8 and the plate with the 8 wings were bigger too so we felt ripped off there too ... and when we asked the waiter ... guess what his response was ... YOU GUESSED IT ... I DONT KNOW. Drink service was also painfully slow. We were in a pub and getting a beer was harder than during the prohibition! No one ever came back to ask if we needed more. My sister in law got so tired of waiting that she got up and went to order a drink at the bar and the bartender asked her which table she was at and she pointed at it and the bartender said that she would send our waiter over when she had a chance so my sister in law pointed out that she had been waiting for 15 min and that the waiter was clearly too busy:” and the bartender said:” well can’t you see I’m busy too! You can wait” sooo my sister in law sat back and and waited another 10 min... to top it all off we were finally ready to get the heck out of there so my sister in law jus paid the bill. We only saw later that we were charged for a meat pie that we never even received. Needless to say WE WILL NOT BE BACK. GooglePlace - December 2017

A historical establishment in Vancouver. I am not a fan of their new facade (ok it was done years ago so not so new), I preferred the red door :) But I understand that they want to make it look nicer. Live music is great, a bit loud. I think they could use a revamp of their food menu and beer list, as they are a bit like everyone else now. GooglePlace - December 2017

I used to go here frequently; for the music selection and the food. After a little break I returned and wow, what a change. Big glass windows - that's nice - but they have the music cranked so loud that I had to yell at my party and they still couldn't hear. Way to ruin a good thing JF. GooglePlace - September 2017
