Went to Lift with some trepidation as the reviews I read were mixed. The location is a (multi) million dollar view and set up. We arrived and found that it was happy hour at the bar and we gave it a try. Excellent selection of food and drink for a happy hour and extremely well priced. Saw a variety of dishes come off and they all looked great. Certainly a "5" for my happy hour experience. Not sure if paying full fare for the full menu would have changed my view, but very happy to recommend the 3-6 pm happy hour. GooglePlace - February 2017

'Dinner and a view' definitely seems a bit like a cliche these days. And honestly, thanks to establishments such as Lift, I am happy that this cliche continues to exist today. This is a phenomenal restaurant, both in terms of the quality of the food and the location itself. Located right beside the Vancouver Harbour, you get a spectacular view to accompany a delicious, varied menu. Usually places like this serve things like steak and wine, but I was surprised on my first visit to discover that they actually carry sushi as well. In fact, their seafood selection is as fine as they come, and seems very fitting given the aquatic location. The one downside to this place is that they have some options that you can only order at the bar, which isn't the worst place to be during their happy hour special. One last thing I can say is... lobster... mac and cheese. Try to read that last bit without having your mouth water. GooglePlace - January 2017
