Aburi-style Cuisine at Miku Restaurant
Aburi-style Cuisine at Miku Restaurant Someone recently asked me for Japanese restaurant suggestions for out-of-town guests and I immediately named Miku and sister restaurant Minami as go-to-places.  When it comes to Jap ... continue Foodgressing · Blog

This place is really good and don't get me wrong, I like it but the one thing that holds it back from 5 stars is just plain ol' high end sushi. I know this place specializes in Aburi-style sushi, which is fair... I really did like it. All my friends love this place and we always have to wait to get in. I'm not sure if it's a certain hype-factor pushing this place along though sometimes? Maybe eating at some of the finer sushi places in Tokyo have altered my perspective too. If you've never been been, try this place. Bring your best credit card too though. GooglePlace - June 2017

Thus restaurant had a great atmosphere with us view of the North Shore mountains and Burrard Inlet. The Restaurant is bright and modern. The staff was very attentive and I was amazed at how the amount of staff in the kitchen looking after every detail of the food. GooglePlace - June 2017

A favourite of mine in Vancouver, and easily the best sushi in town. The exceptional food is matched with a knowledgeable staff that show the obvious passion they hold for food. If you're a sushi fan, don't bother going elsewhere. Miku should be your first and only stop. GooglePlace - May 2017

I don't like sushi and didn't want to come here... but I was pleasantly surprised. They have sushi that is definitely not authentic and tastes like candy, so even people like me can enjoy it. And they have a great selection of sake as well. And the interior is nice. GooglePlace - May 2017

My sister used to work here and she used to work for Vancouver Club and she says food quality here is topnotch in addition to their food's superb taste. It's pricey but the servings are modest. Not a dollop but not too big either. They have the best dessert I've ever tried in Vancouver: Spiced Chestnut Tart. Another must try in this sushi-laden city is Otoro sushi. Very unique taste and oh so good; you won't regret! I recommend for a special day or holiday eat out event GooglePlace - April 2017
