Tips from the Net @ Moxie's Classic Grill

So I hadn't been to Moxie's in about 2 years because I thought the service and food had been going downhill. But it was the only place nearby that had seats (which I should have taken as a sign). I ordered a turkey club, and half the sandwich was just bread, lettuce, and tomato, some bacon, and mayo. The other half was the same but with two small pieces of turkey (about enough to cover half of the palm of my hand). That was a new low for food at Moxie's. I politely sent it back, and decided to eat something else after and just watch my date finish his meal which was a little awkward. The waitress was polite, but didn't seem to really care about it. No apologies were offered, and she just said she wouldn't charge me for the meal. The service there wasn't terrible, but it was also below average. I never saw our waitress smile once the whole time we were there. Best case scenario: they ruined my meal Worse case scenario: they ruined my date, and any future hopes of a relationship with that person, and I'm going die alone. hehe. GooglePlace - November 2017

You can make reservations beforehand if you are going to a game. And I recommend it because it gets really busy. Foursquare - November 2017

I've never done a Google review before... but the service was probably the worst I can recall. I'm not sure why they took our drink orders because only 2 of the 6 people at the table got the water they asked for. Even when the meal was finished (1.5 hours after arriving) I still did not have the water I asked for. I ordered eggs and bacon and fruit for my kids And was brought eggs and hashbrowns and toast, when I reminded them of the order they said just keep the toast and hashbrowns but my kids can't eat potatoes and bread. The meal I ordered was quite cold and again... I never got the water I asked for after reminding them again. .. they weren't even busy. 20 minutes later she brought back eggs and a huge helping of hashbrowns for my kids. When I told her that's not what I ordered she claimed I told her my kids had a gluten allergy. I repeated 3 more times please bring eggs bacon and fruit. She asked about allergies and I just repeated eggs bacon and fruit and nothing else. She got flustered and walked away. It was quite ridiculous and it was a Sunday morning and they weren't even busy. For brunch is indeed good. For lunch, it’s an average place, even a little overpriced. Foursquare - October 2017
