Fresh Bread and Great Coffee. Its as simple as that. Or at least it should, if you have the same romantic visions of how bread and coffee should be done as we do.

Love the space. The bread is amazing. The coffee should be much better. Maybe add a different local toaster which does more specialty coffees. Recommendation: Luna. GooglePlace - December 2017

Easily the best Avocado Toast in Vancouver. If you're an Aussie looking for a taste of home, or just a big fan of eating with your coffee, then this is the place for you. Warning! It gets pretty packed on the weekends with people working on their laptops, but this can have its charm as well if you can find a space. GooglePlace - November 2017

This is by far the best healthy and fresh food I’ve had in a coffee shop. Great coffee, excellent food and fresh bread. A couple of down sides: - they don’t have decaf coffee - the layout is not so cozy. Tables are too close together and it’s usually crowded so you have no privacy GooglePlace - November 2017

Poached egg and avocado toast are fantastic. Fresh baked bread. Nice atmosphere. Very laid back with old school soft rock playing. The neighborhood is bitter sweet - very climatic but also overflowing with homelessness. GooglePlace - October 2017

I've always loved Nelson the Seagull, it's a great spot to work, catch up with friends, or even have a casual business meeting. They have a great menu if you're hunger, with many of the items made in-house or sourced locally. It has a cozy vibe to it, with a record player and a good selection of cozy chairs or couches. They also have a super cool chest of drawers that people can leave notes and trinkets for their friends etc. I love the almond milk latte and the herbivore sandwich. GooglePlace - October 2017
