Awesome spot. Really enjoyed my last visit and can't wait to go back again. Ask for Tim, he's the most amazing staff they have at this cool oyster bar. GooglePlace - March 2018

For those of us that love oysters and for those that never tried. Rodney's Oyster House is an exceedance place to pop your oyster... the variety, the friendly and hunky oh and informative stuff will steer you to the right dish. Great cool vibes, sparkling atmosphere, very good selection of alcohol! The only creatic is the loud music that makes you raise the voice too much when trying to have a conversation, but after a few drinks, you don't care about that anymore... and just enjoy the good food and fun. Great Clam chowder. Fantastic selection of Oysters. Staff that know their food. Excellent service. Bit pricey but always on my list when I visit Van. GooglePlace - February 2018

Love it, but BOOK A RESERVATION! Seriously, this place is busy, bit worth going to! Every meal we've had has been memorable, the food is excellent and the oysters come with so many more garnishes than anywhere else we've been to! We always make a point to go to Rodney's and now they even have a second location in gas town as well as the yaletown location. Lots of history here! GooglePlace - January 2018

I came to Vancouver for two days. N had a wonderful feast at Rodney on the first night (had chowder, mussels and oysters). Everything was good so I decided to go back again for a lobster and mussels. Unlike the first time, the service was quite bad on my second visit. The portion of my mussels was much smaller from the afternoon (low tide) menu.. We were not told about the difference. The mussels were not debearded properly and there was sand in many shells. Is this also a difference between the afternoon and the night menu? I ordered the lobster but to my disappointment, the meat stuck to the shell n was not bouncy. It was surprising to me because they have a tank n there were live lobsters in it... The one I got was probably on the brink of dying because it did not taste and feel fresh. So.. unless this is the best Vancouver has to offer, I'll recommend going to the fish market or supermarket to get fresher seafood to cook it yourself. :) GooglePlace - January 2018
