I'm a local guy...have loved Rodney's in the past. Got off to a great start...fantastic Oysters and a bottle of wine...and friendly service! Then a shift change and was treated to the worst and most arrogant service I've ever experienced at a bar! I will never return and either will anyone from my company. One terrible server can wreak a whole meal. Vancouver has a ton of great yourself a favour and skip this place. GooglePlace - September 2017

A mid sized sea food restaurant. Young and energetic staff. Delicious food. Their menu is not big. Their drink options are efficient. A little noisy for my taste. I will definitely go again. GooglePlace - September 2017

Beautiful location but bizarre, overpriced experience. Our party of three sat on the upper level. Server asked us what oysters we wanted but they weren't listed anywhere. As foodies we tried listing off local oysters we were were fans of, got a blank stare and we were told only the price range of what they offered - up to 3.50 each. Obviously this guy knew nothing about oysters and what they were serving. Extremely awkward. What we settled on (6) ended up being small, over-priced. The Ocean Salad was decent, Mussel steamer was average. Scallop Galette was over-priced, had a big centre of very oily salad. Terrible presentation. We each had one beer and it came to over a hundred dollars for 3 of us to share one salad, one mussel steamer, scallop appetizer and 6 Oysters. We were so hungry we went somewhere else after.
