We were the only two people in the place, and kept us waiting at our table for 30 mins while they ate their lunch.. Which is fine, busy restaurant workers need to stop for lunch too. But they didn't tell us or anything... Just kept us waiting.
Food was cold when it arrived while staff watched really loud and obnoxious videos on their phone while we ate. Never came back to find out how our food was. As they were too busy on their cell phones.

Their cutting noodles are fantastic, although folks I've gone with have said amazing things about other menu items too.
Really the only thing this place loses a point for is chronically slapdash service and a general lack of cleanliness, but it's part and parcel of eating at a hole in the wall like this.GooglePlace - January 2018
It's a cold and nippy day in Vancouver i decided to grab a nice warm meal i ordered the Hot & Sour Soup and the Nutritious Noodle with Lamb and vegetables in soup, after trying (Banana Leaf and Peaceful Restaurant)the hot & sour soup here is the😳OMFG!!! it's freakin delicious the best of the best with honour it's got a good spicy kick👍🏻the noodle with lamb is a very hearty meal a bowl packed with wholesome goodness. The steamed veg dumplings are addictive, and the fish and chive ones are super tasty. I recently ordered the cold flavoured sliced potato and cucumber - so refreshing. Loyal customer right here.GooglePlace - November 2017
From the outside one wouldn't expect anything special from Shaolin. Another cluttered hole-in-the-wall Asian joint doesn't inspire high expectations. However, once seated and orders placed, the food comes exceptionally fast (though not all at once).
The menu is, like the decor, cluttered and may be hard to decipher. However one can't go wrong with the Shaolin specials such as the fried cutting noodles with chicken. The garlic broccoli and green onion pancake are also delicious, albeit greasy, treats. Authenticity of the dishes is out my scope of knowledge but the food is good.
Pricing isn't amazing but not horrendous. If you're in the area and in the mood for some noodles, it's worth considering. GooglePlace - August 2017
