Our Story: It began in a small palazzo on Via Tevere—a street in the heart of Naples where our father and his four sisters were raised. Throughout childhood and to this day, we have spent countless summers on Via Tevere, where we quickly learned about the importance of food in the Neapolitan way of life. Of the utmost significance is the iconic pizza, which has become the symbol of Naples. Pizza Napoletana is lauded for its rustic simplicity, its traditional wood-fire cooking method and its celebration of Neapolitan ingredients. Our goal is to honour our family heritage and the tradition of pizza-making by serving up la vera pizza Napoletana—the true Neapolitan pizza.

Limited but great menu, classic wood oven neopolitan pizza, salads, couple pastas. Good micro brew, decent wine selection. Smaller place often lineups. Few spots at bar. GooglePlace - February 2018

Possibly the best pizza joint in Vancouver and with reasonable prices, fantastic service, and cosy atmosphere. Everything dished up was super yummy. Cannot fault it. Already looking forward to the next visit! Update: Went back yesterday for the second time after a couple of months. We live in Coquitlam so it's a good 30 to 40 minute drive to get there. We convinced a friend to meet us there at 6 PM. Because they don't take reservations then we had to wait about 40 minutes to get in but we realized this would likely be the case. We thought that arriving earlier might help but it didn't. The food was consistently and just as good as the first time when I awarded the place 5 stars. However, this time something happened which I have rarely experience in other restaurants. After the meal one of the staff did passive aggressive tactics to make us feel uncomfortable and leave. She never said anything and in fact her nice colleague who waited on our table told us to take our time. But the passive aggressive staff member did tactics like standing and looking directly at our table, and standing next to and facing our table holding the plastic wallet they use for the cheque. This was so annoying and it worked... finally we felt so uncomfortable that we left... sort of ruining our evening with the friend. For this reason I can no longer recommend this restaurant. It's one of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant., and for this reason I'm adjusting the star rating from 5 to 1... which I think I've never done before in many 100s of reviews... Maybe if you arrive later in the evening then the staff won't be so militant. This will be our last visit there. GooglePlace - February 2018

A rare experience in Vancouver. Just a beauty of a spot, with very friendly staff. The appetizers are almost enough to bring a person in. Amazing rocket salad, tasty meatballs, and great wine/beer/cocktails. Don’t even talk about the pizza. It’s amazing. Worth the long-ish wait every time. GooglePlace - January 2018

I've heard great things about this restaurant over the years but this was my first time experiencing it first hand. We did take out so I can't comment on the in dining experience. That being said, I would assume it must be quite good based on my experience as a take out customer. They only take orders in person but they got my food ready fast. My order was taken quickly and I was advised it would take about 10-15 minutes to be prepared. We ordered 3 pizzas, salad, and meatballs. It definitely took less than 15 minutes and I was genuinely impressed. The pizza was delicious but a bit expensive. I think this would be the place I go when I want to treat myself to some excellent pizza. Definitely order the meatballs. They are the best I've tried and I highly recommend them. Also a bit pricey but so delicious. Overall, the food quality is excellent and I look forward to dining in next time. Worth a try and hands down better than your run of the mill franchise pizza. The pizza was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy. Reminded me of a quaint Napoletana pizzeria I went to a few years ago in New York City. The worse part was the wait but we had 12 people. Couples didn't wait long. It was worth it; good food, good people. I'll be going again. GooglePlace - October 2017
