Una sola parola: FENOMENALE!!! Consiglio di assaggiare tutto. Non dimenticate di chiedere il baccala' mantecato...!!!!! Cenare sulla terrazza guardando il tramonto vale il viaggio in questo ristorante. Il sig. Graziano ti accoglie e ti coccola con professionalità e tanta simpatia.

I have eaten several time in this fantastic restaurant. Better to go there early, a little bit before the sunset because, if the day is clear, from the terrace you can enjoy a unique sunset over Venice. If you are visiting Venice, take a vaporetto to the Lido between 3-4 p.m and once there the bus n.11. The trip itself to the small Pellestrina island is a beautiful one. If you arrive a little bit earlier, take a stroll, watch the lagoon and the special little boats used to fish clams. Once at Celeste, let Graziano guide you. They serve fresh, local fish only, so depending on the season, you will have diffrent beautiful surprises. Two amazing starters (very traditional Venitian food) though are always available and you must try them: Baccala mantecato (creamy codfish) and polenta e schie (schie are very small shrimps from the lagoon). the price of the food is correct (around 50 euros, depending on how many courses you will have). There is not much choice for the wine but prosecco wine with fish is a match made in heaven so why to look for something different?
