A place to eat GOOD FOOD! If your looking for fancy gourmet staff this place is not for you. The food is fresh and really tasty. The portions are huge but beside that the quality is really good. GooglePlace - August 2017

Walked past earlier in the day and penciled in dinner instantly after seeing the dishes come out. However, upon arrival on the night, we were left waiting for a long time before anyone even acknowledged our existence. Once we got the attention of the extremely rude "Julia", she did not care one bit about assisting us for a table of four. We tried to convince her that we would break the group up in order to get seated, however she kept bypassing us and looking after her regulars or anyone who spoke Italian. As a tourist to Venice, I am now left with this sour taste in my mouth due to the disrespect the staff at Il Paradiso Perduto showed my friends and me. GooglePlace - July 2017

Food looked good. Got in line only to be left waiting for 10min whilst others walked in and were seated. Once approached by the one person serving (Julia) she rudely advised there was no seats for 4 people and we would need to wait until 10pm - it was 8:30pm at the time. We then asked if we could split to 2 x tables of 2 however she said not until 10pm. Obviously not a fan of tourists. There are enough other places to have a nice dinner so would not recommend. We had lunch here and it was by far our best lunch in Venice. The servings are enormous and definitely for sharing. Possibly the pick on the menu was the marinara pasta. They're usually really busy so would definitely recommend making a booking. GooglePlace - July 2017

Great vibe and super friendly, welcoming staff. Above average antipasti. The mixed seafood and vegetable plate for two is enough on its own and we are normally big eaters. Forgettable house wine. I reckon it's a great place for a drink and some delicious snacks by the canal, but not your last meal in Venice. GooglePlace - June 2017
