We were lucky to be staying at a hotel local to this place, only a 3 minute walk, so we came here for lunch on our first day in Venice and then again for our last meal as it was so delicious. Great atmosphere and service. The sparkling wine is €11 a litre, or €1.50 a glass, and the seafood is fresh. The blues music playing in the background was also an added bonus. A wonderful authentic place with welcoming people, fantastic seafood and two cute cats strolling around. I recommend the mixed seafood Antipasti and the Vongole. The prices were reasonable taking into account the quality of food and drinks. 10/10 would go again. GooglePlace - January 2018

Fantastic! As outsiders, this place was recommended to us by two different locals. It did not disappoint. Bustling and fun. We came without a reservation, but thankfully they had space for us. The atmosphere was ecletic, warm, and down-to-earth. My husband and I both got seafood dishes and it was perfect. Wonderfully substantial portions for travelers who have been walking all day. A very fitting name "Paradise Lost" for this hole in the wall. I heartily recommend this lovely place to any hungery traveler anxious to get away from the hubbub of the main treks of Venice. Fantastic meal and wonderful, authentic atmosphere. The waitstaff was fantastic! The restaurant was completely booked with people waiting at 1:30 on a rainy Sunday afternoon. We were lucky and got the last empty table for 4. When we were finished, there was a line of people waiting and people dining outside... in the rain! I would recommend making a reservation.
