Fantastic well prepared food: incredible fish and best gnocchi I have probably ever eaten. Very reasonably priced. Very prompt service--anything we asked for appeared almost instantly. Julian was our waiter assisted by Amjad--very friendly and professional. There were 5 of us and our experience was terrific. Definitely will eat at Sempione again. GooglePlace - June 2017

Amazing little find! We had fillet steak which was perfectly cooked and the service was great. If you're looking for a unique spot this is the place! Try to get the table by the window to truly enjoy the view! GooglePlace - May 2017

From the outside, we thought this restaurant looked promising. The staff were reasonably attentive and service was quick. However, the food was something else. The pasta tasted like they were from packet dried pasta and not freshly made pasta. Mussels and seafood in the pasta Sempione were overcooked. The chicken i ordered was dry. The salmon my wife ordered was overcooked, tasted like it was microwaved and then finished on a griddle. It was very hot in the centre and cooler on the outside ( tell tale sign of microwave cooking). Worse, it was tasteless. I took a bite and spat it out. Pity, the chef let this place down. What a delight.. We stopped to have lunch at this lovely restaurant on a day of walking through the alleys of Venice, and were treated to a wonderful meal. The restaurant isn't the cheapest, but that just means you get a place that isn't too crowded, and in Venice that's rare. The lasagna was delicious, and the table at the window gave us a beautiful view of the passing gondolas. We left refreshed and invigorated. GooglePlace - October 2016
