Pasta was severely undercooked. It was so undercooked the noodles were actually crunchy. And it was served cold. Really bad food here. GooglePlace - December 2017

Great seafood here! My fiancee and I ordered the scallops to start. They were sauteed perfectly. For our mains, she ordered the squid ink pasta while I had the linguine with curled octopus. My octopus had been cooked to perfection, and I have to say the squid ink pasta was the best we had while in Venice. Very, very good. The meal was complimented by great service. This location is close to the water but just far enough away from the craziness of the Rialto. After walking past some of the waterside restaurants near the bridge and seeing lack of service and noisy atmosphere at the more touristy spots, we were so happy to have picked Vinaria for our first night's meal. When you pay your bill. Use exact bills or credit card. The waiter seems to think he is entitled to a tip of your bills if change. Waited, and he never came back. GooglePlace - September 2017

Lasagna was good, mussels and hamburger were average. Lunch menu is worth it including a glass of wine. Good service. GooglePlace - September 2017

Had a lovely dinner at Vinaria. Good service, reasonably priced and delicious, well-presented food. Well positioned just up from the tourist area so is quieter but still overlooking the gondolas and passing boats on the Grand Canal. Funky little bar area too. GooglePlace - July 2017
