A Michelin Starred chef opens a small restaurant modeled after a private home. Rarer of the rarest, is that the chef himself, cooks at the open chitchen (together with his 6 strong brigade) right in front of the 5 tables available. Choice of an extraordinary tasting menu or, if you want to take less than 3 hours to eat (why would you???) a shorter "mistery menu". Hard to describe the different plates as they change quite often but all based on strong and well defined flavour bases augmented by more suttle layers on top. All plates try to "mix it up" by alternating fish and meat, strong and delicate so that at the end you are not over-filled. The home made bread deserves a individual note. Be careful, of course, because a restaurant with less than 10 tables and a staff of 12 cannot be cheap.... But, on a special occasion is well worth it. Unique in Verona. On the other hand, if you are a tourist, you better, first, try some of the more local fare ok? GooglePlace - September 2017

Great pasta! We stopped here for lunch after noticing a lot of locals walking in and weren't disappointed. The smell of garlic will almost knock you out on the way to the toilets. Very tasty and flavourful. GooglePlace - November 2016
