They pretended to be kind but actually they were racist, we thought. When we entered, after they took a glance and discussed, they said they can't give us seat outside or the tables seen from outside because of full reservation even though they had one guest outside and all the table except the one were empty. Maybe we look Asian? It was my first experience and we were surprised in this era. GooglePlace - December 2017

“Another tourist trap. Promoted only by fake reviews!! Read this carefully!!!”I am in Vienna every two months. I know this city as a tourist practically perfectly With the Buxbaum restaurant I was dealing in early July. I visited this place as a high note on trip. In the summer the big plus of this place is the fantastic garden in a quiet place. We ate lunch menu and pasta. It was really 4/5. This time in two couples decided to try to wait more. We ordered burrata, vienner schnitzel, shrimp pasta, prosecco bottle and set menu a'la chef. For water we waited 10 min, proecco 15 min. Schnitzel was hopeless, the meat as thin as a piece of paper. buratta without taste. The menu set did not impress and the portions were amazingly small. The worst was, however, the end. We were fooled by the price of Prosecco 54 instead of 38 euro as was on the card. I did not pay any attention to the waiter. We will never go back again. It was not an experience worth finding this place. GooglePlace - September 2017

Decent slow-food, some of the chef's menu choices seemed a bit off at first but it worked very well together as the meal developed. Worked well for a larger company. Friendly and accommodating staff, they even adjusted for children. GooglePlace - July 2017

We had a half a day layover in Vienna and spent the afternoon in the city. The Buxbaum restaurant is a bit hidden but a little gem. The decoration is great and creates a good atmosphare. We both had their wiener schnitzel and it was delicous. I for sure will come back the next time when I'm in Vienna. We were lucky and got a place for two as we were early but if you want to be sure you should have a reservation. GooglePlace - May 2017
