Café Museum / Wien

Operngasse 7 Wien 1010
Opening Hours

Another cake heaven, very good service and you can see one of the famous and iconic Vienna clocks close up. The beautiful cafes of Vienna can seem a bit costly, but think of them as an experience to be enjoyed at your leisure. We used vouchers given to us after doing the 3rd Mann tour which saved us a couple of euros :) GooglePlace - July 2017

One of the classic Viennese cafes. Good coffee and food. Its close to the Opera, well worth visit. Bit pricey. GooglePlace - June 2017

Just fine. Spacious and has a selection of international newspapers. Comfortable seats. Sitting outside is possible though a bit noisy because it is located at one of Vienna's main roads. GooglePlace - April 2017

Didn't realise that the waiter added two extra items that cost €7 on our bill (never ordered, and never serve those items) until the next day we split the bills. We did pay you tips, so don't be that desperate please. Check your bill before you pay. GooglePlace - April 2017

Very good place for desert and coffee. They have lemonade, alcoholic beverages, etc but definitely try something on the menu that you will not find anywhere else. I find that the servers in Austria in general are not the most friendly people. You ask them for recommendations and suggestions and they give very blunt one word answers, which don't rely help. But that's not a know on this place, that's just the trend I see in general at restaurants here. We tried Turkish coffee and Mozart cake. The coffee was VERY dark (strong) but tasted great with the delicious cake! I would definitely recommend this place to tourists, and especially couples since it's a romantic environment.
