Strolling through spices, fresh fruits and vegetables is fun all over the world. This holds true for Vienna as well. In addition to checking out all the landmarks of the city and I must admit they are spectacular in this city, it is so revitalizing to spend a morning here. GooglePlace - January 2018

Despite the high tourist numbers, the Naschmarkt is still one of my favourite places in Vienna. It's the place to go for any foodie. Indulge in what the merchants have to offer, it's prime quality. The restaurants towards the Karlsplatz end are good too, but if you're looking for Asian food, look across the street ( both right and left). There are smaller hidden gems with more authentic food. We went here as part of a food tour. Lovely market with a great variety of stalls. Mixing the authentic shops with the tourist places, so pay good attention where you go. Nice atmosphere all-round though. GooglePlace - December 2017

Lively fun food market with plenty to see. If you're staying in an apartment definitely worth at home cooking with the produce from here. Lots of stop gaps for a drink or lunches too. Definitely worth a visit, some quite unusual spices too and Gegenbauer is a beautiful place with such a helpful stall owner to buy some quite unique oils and vinegars. GooglePlace - November 2017

Loved this place! When you want something other than Austrian/German food, this is a great option. I picked a vendor where there were many people in line and went for fresh hummus, garlic stuffed olives, falafel and an Egyptian fig and nut item. This lasted me the next four meals! There were also fruit and veggie vendors, clothing, etc. Another shop sold wine. There were multiple restaurants with great specials for food and wine. Would be a great people watching place.
