Very friendly service, very good dishes, nice and calm music! We loved it!

If you're desperate for Malaysian food, I guess this is the only place to go (others have closed down over the years). On the permanent menu there are a few Malaysian Penang dishes i.e. curry laksa, char kuih teow, etc., but that's about it. I asked about the 'national food' of Malaysia: nasi lemak, the owner said the restaurant has "food theme" every month, and for June 2016 it was Thai (I was there in May), and each year they close the place between July-August for holiday and reopens in September. If you wish to be informed about their monthly special, simply sign up for their newsletter. At the time we spoke, she said she would consider offering nasi lemak for September 2016, so let's see! My only complaint is, it's a bit pricey for the street food we usually get in Malaysia, but oh well this is Vienna.
