This is a great place to buy every kind of spice or tea you could want. They are not expensive and fresh. Also there are nice restaurants and good cheap food as well. Good place to buy Turkish sweets and baklava. If you are a tourist this is a good place to get foody souvenirs. GooglePlace - July 2017

Nice market with great restaurants throughout. It also has vegetables, fruits, and a variety of other foods available to buy. Additionally, there are permanent shops as well as trucks selling a variety of good. Something fun to stop and and get some lunch if you have some extra time in Vienna. GooglePlace - July 2017

Arguably the most popular market in Vienna, the Naschmarkt is among the oldest markets in the city, and covers a huge area while offering almost everything that you can think of. If you are interested in diverse international food items, then head to this flea market. You can find fresh Asian shrimps, Italian cheese, spices, olives and all sorts of fruits. The great part is that none of these will burn a hole in your pocket. Apart from food, you can also get old furniture, carpets, postcards from the times of war, Indian jewelry etc. GooglePlace - July 2017

I was a bit disappointed in this market. It felt like many of the stalls were the same thing over and over with a lot of junk stores in between; I was hoping for more local art or craftsmanship. (We went on a Friday.) However, the produce looked delicious and there were many unusual fruits I've never heard of or tried before. One of the restaurants at the top of the market has air conditioning which is a huge relief in the 90° weather Vienna has been having this summer. GooglePlace - June 2017

Especially recommended on rainy days (in summer) because one can sit outside in the rain and enjoy great beverages. Some of the bars even have heat lamps so it does not get too cold at night. GooglePlace - June 2017
