It is a nice and enormous market. If you don't like crowd it is better to avoid the place on Saturdays. There is a variety of tipicals products (but some stands are very similar between them) and the stands are surrounded by restaurants of various kinds (cheaper restaurants and fast-foods but also "tourist's traps"). The atmosphere is cozy and noisy but full of life. The sellers often offer to try their products and they are a bit insistent but kind and talkative. If you are in Vienna for more than a couple of days and you want to see a typical market (different from a Christmas Market) it is the right spot to visit. GooglePlace - January 2018

Lovely place to go for a walk and pick up local stuff. And street food. I enjoyed walking down n up the entire stretch. For a tourist, it's a great place to go. A lot of new stuff to see.and click pics. I loved it, every inch of it. GooglePlace - January 2018

Very colorful place. Smells , colors and tastes from every corner of the world. It was Saturday so they also had antique flea market beside regular food market. Lots of street food stands, small cafes and spice shops....but if you're looking for Austrian products you won't find many here. It is more like international, very touristy oriented market without local products. GooglePlace - January 2018

Great place to shop around and taste different kind of street food and also buy some local stuff. I bought lots of cheese here from local out let. It turned out great. It's not too big so good to spend there about 1-2hr if you visit first time. Also close to main shopping street and historical areas. GooglePlace - January 2018

Despite the high tourist numbers, the Naschmarkt is still one of my favourite places in Vienna. It's the place to go for any foodie. Indulge in what the merchants have to offer, it's prime quality. The restaurants towards the Karlsplatz end are good too, but if you're looking for Asian food, look across the street ( both right and left). There are smaller hidden gems with more authentic food.
